Kathy enjoyed studying Psychology and graduated with BSc with  Honours. She then went on to achieve a diploma in music education with Trinity  college, ATCL, Associate of Trinity College London. She also has grade 8 piano with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music.

 

Kathy has much experience working in education. Kathy qualified in teaching whilst training at Southend High For Girls, achieving her PGCE in her chosen subject - music.

 

As a teacher Kathy gained lots of experience planning and delivering the National Curriculum in Key Stages 2, 3 and 4.

As well as this, Kathy has worked as Learning Support Assistant and as a Librarian in a secondary school.

Kathy enjoys teaching KS2 and KS3 English and Maths, 11+, piano, guitar and is a qualified yoga teacher.

​

She creates a supportive and calm learning environment where students are nurtured to fulfil their potential, gain confidence and explore their strengths and weaknesses.
